Cellar Door Menus Available at Artisan

The Oratia Valley, and our west Auckland environs are rich in history and culture. Our menu reflects the food of our region. Where possible we source ingredients from suppliers to the Oratia Farmers' Market, local producers and organic farmers. Our herbs are picked daily from our own herb garden for the freshest possible flavours.

Full lunch menu available Thursday - Sunday.

Starters

  • Bread and Dips
    With local olive oil, avocado oil, our own dukkah and freshly made Artisan dips (for two) $15

    With garlic butter and blue cheese filling  $8

    With extra virgin olive oil and either balsamic vinegar or garlic and herbs (for two) $6

MAIN FARE - Our menu changes seasonally.

  • Salad Choices with BBQ (choose two)
    Roasted Kumara with lemon, red onion and spices. Potato and pasta salad with tomato and parmesean mayonaise. Beans, courgesttes and peas with sesame miso dressing. Organic mixed leaf salad, wine vinegar and olive oil dressing.

The adult platters are prepared for two people, however, we are happy to prepare platters for one or three. Please ask our wait staff if you have any special requests.

  • Kauri Ridge Vegetarian Antipasto Platter: $39
    Selected Artisan dips, an assortment of grilled, marinated, pickled and fresh vegetables, nuts and dried fruits. Served with fresh bread and crostini

  • Fantail Island Antipasto Platter: $39
    Assorted cured meats and pate, with our Chef's own marinated olives, dips and pickled vegetables. Served with fresh bread and crostini

  • Tara Cheese Platter: $39
    A selection of boutique New Zealand cheese and condiments. Served with fresh bread, crostini, crackers, seasonal fruit and nuts

FINALE

The Oratia Farmers Market
The market is open every Saturday morning 9 am to 12 pm, rain, hail or shine. Come to the market for the best in local produce, breads, fish, meats, cheeses and much more.

Extended hours on Fridays.
OPEN until 8pm. Pop in on your way from work, gather your friends and unwind in our beautiful vineyard setting, have a drink and some Wapas ( Westie Tapas)
