Burkes Bank Pinot Gris 2014
At bottling this wine was very pale straw with a hint of green.
The nose is alive with bright Pinot Gris characters of light spice and pear with hints of nectarine.
The palate is fresh, silky smooth, full of fruit and crisp on the finish.
Perfect to compliment any seafood or white meat dish. This wine has sufficient body to accompany roast chicken or pork.
The wine expresses pleasing palate weight and complexity. It can be consumed young but will also benefit from one to two years aging in the bottle when the apricot and stone fruit characters will develop.
